On July
12th 2003 we said goodbye to Zeppy. This was
our greatest Herdword teacher to date.
He taught the proud to
be humble, the rough to be gentle, the weak to be strong, the
thoughtless to be solicitous, the unbending to be flexible and
the wishy washy to be precise.
He had the ability to expose
the strengths and weaknesses of every individual who had the
opportunity to work with him.
With his
busy mind, this horse tried and tested each individual he worked
with in a kind and gentleman like manner. His great interest
in the human species, graduated him to the equivalent of a wise
professor who appeared to possess a greater understanding of
us, than we have of ourselves.
This truly
noble little horse is irreplaceable and will always hold a very
important place in our hearts.
