Wild Side Busby

Wild Side Busby: Age three years and standing 15hh March 2008.

Busby was gelded at one year of age and then returned to the family group to grow on and develop out on the hills. May 2008: Busby has been brought in for further handling and some initial groundwork. Busby is proving to be very intelligent only requiring to be shown something once or twice. He is friendly, respectful and genuinely interested in learning.

His first foot trimming and dental work were completed without incident. Busby displays both lightness and engagement in his paces. He offers an exceptional level of attentiveness which in turn produces split secondresponses and is enthusiastic about the simple basic lessons he is experiencing.

It would be easy to push on with Busby and sour his enthusiasm by asking too much too soon. With this in mind he may not be backed during 2008 but rather be returned to run with his group for four to six months before being introduced to formal ridden work.
